What is included with a Regent Shore Excursion?
Regent Shore excursions include transportation to the attraction or activity, the services of a local tour guide, equipment and gear (if applicable) and entrance fees if applicable. For example, if you are taking a guided bicycle tour in Dubrovnik, Croatia, your tour will include the transportation from the ship to the starting point in Dubravka Village, all cycling gear, refreshments and/or wine tastings, and return transportation back to the ship. In Alaska you may try a Dog Sled Adventure by Helicopter. Again, transportation from the ship to the helicopter, helicopter flightseeing expedition, dogsled ride and return transportation would all be included. Some Regent Shore Excursions may also include meals, drinks and refreshments.
Am I obligated to reserve a Free or Regent Choice Shore Excursion?

However, planning your shore excursions with Regent Seven Seas Cruises has a number of benefits including value, variety and convenience. Regent Seven Seas Cruises offers free, unlimited shore excursions in every port-of-call in every destination. How physically challenging are Regent Shore Excursions?
Most Regent Shore Excursions require some degree of walking; however, some excursions include extensive walking and hiking. Likewise, the grand entryways of local museums, castles, forts and attractions; sprawling gardens; hilly and icy Alaskan terrain; or Europe's cobblestone streets can all make walking and climbing even more difficult. Some tours can be very high energy. High adventure white water rafting in Alaska, climbing Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica, bike tours in Hawaii, hiking the hill in Santorini (or riding the mules up for that matter) and kayaking may require you to be in good shape beforehand. Whatever your fitness level, we highly recommend comfortable, low-heeled walking shoes. To assist guests in choosing their shore excursions, most Regent Seven Seas Cruises grades their tours according to the level of activity they entail.
Can I book more than one Regent Shore Excursion in a day?
This depends upon the shore excursions you select and their departure and arrival times. Regent Seven Seas Cruises and tour operators may offer certain tours in the morning and in the afternoon, so it is possible to take two tours on the same day. It is generally recommended that you allow at least one hour for travel from one Regent Shore Excursion to the next.
Are meals included on the tour?
Unless it is specifically mentioned in the tour description, meals are not included. Most tour departure times complement the ship's meal service hours, so you can enjoy your meal aboard then go ashore. However, on some full day tours, or if you take more than one tour in a day, your return on board may not coincide with meal hours. Fortunately, regardless of when you return, there is always a buffet, snack, or room service available.
One of my Regent Shore Excursions is in waitlist status. When will I know if I am confirmed?
Each sail date and itinerary may have varying availability based on several factors, such as number of guides, coaches, boats, planes, time in port, etc.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises continually requests additional space from tour operators, but the process can take time as they may have to source additional equipment and guides at their end.
If one of your shore excursions is in waitlist status, Regent Seven Seas Cruises will notify you if additional space has been confirmed as quickly as possible. Waitlists will be cleared in the order received.
What if I cancel my Regent Shore Excursion?
Regent Shore Excursions operate rain or shine. If you decide you must cancel a shore excursion for any reason within 36 hours prior to the departure time, a 100% cancellation penalty will be incurred.
