When is embarkation and disembarkation?

Embarkation begins between 12pm (noon) and 1pm, though suites are not usually available before 3pm. If sailing from a U.S. port, you must embark at least two hours prior to departure to meet Customs and Border Protection requirements. For other sailings, embarkation must be completed no later than 90 minutes prior to departure.

For disembarkation, plan to vacate your suite shortly after arrival in port. We recommend scheduling flights no sooner than four hours after disembarkation.

Will we need to go through customs?

Yes. Upon returning to the United States, all baggage is subject to inspection by U.S. Customs Service. If your voyage begins or ends in a foreign port, local customs officials may also require inspection.

U.S. residents are allowed a duty-free exemption of $800 per person. Guests over the age of 21 may include one liter of liquor and one carton of cigarettes within this exemption.
